This is the baptism study I was looking for! Joel A. Kazmierski This book makes amazing connections between baptism and the science of water and water conservation. We used it with our elementary-age youth group who were all going to be baptized and it has inspired us to get involved in a mission project. We will learn about Haiti and the need for water filters in schools there. We'll connect with a school in Haiti, exchange photos and letters and such, and do lots more science and some fundraisers so we can fund some water filters. I was looking for a baptism study that wasn't full of religious jargon and I found it!. great for teaching a child about the meaning of baptism. wordlover This is very helpful in encouraging a to ask questions and helps teach a greater understanding of Baptism, it explained it well to my 9 year old.. "Excelent" according to Betsy. All you need to know about Baptism and some matters about water you may not have thought of. I certainly am more conservative of water since reading this.

Activities also connect clean water and the Millennium Development Goals.. Besides being essential for life, water is the visible sign of Baptism, which calls us to serve others in the world. Water connects all physical and spiritual life. Having clean water for all God s children is an act of justice, love, respect and a core value of what it means to be a Christian. These illustrated workbook activities tap into multiple learning levels and offer a variety of ways for children to interact with this core value of our faith, making a direct connection for young people between their faith and daily life. It can be used in an educational or devotional setting at home, church, or school
