Usually, when the Western is combined with sci fi, fantasy, or the weird tale, I find that those two distinct qualities are often completely lost. What makes 'Twice Upon a Time' different is that it is a fantasy story, yet holds onto the sense of authenticity and the strong voice of the traditional Western.
