Great Guide if You're Restoring Your First Trans Am I am currently restoring a 1977 Pontiac Trans Am, and I purchased this book in hope of gaining further insight on my restoration (which is progressing at a turtles pace). While there is a lot of good information in this restoration guide, it's geared more for the novice. If you've already completed a restoration or two, you're not going to learn anything new by buying this book. If, however, you're working on partially or fully restoring your first Trans Am, then I would recommend you add this book to your shop library.. Benzaquen's book and a Haynes manual may be all the Firebird owner may ever need If you are into the Firebird this book is a must have item. Even though it would be difficult to cover every aspect of rebuilding or restoring a particular automobile Benzaquen does an admirable job of covering most subjects that would be of interest to both the professional and amateur restorer in his book. All in all, Benzaquen's book is great reference material. If you acquire Benaquen's book and Haynes Firebird repair manual you should have all of the repair and restoration information that you will ever need to get a Firebird back on the road and looking good. I hi. Great book, very informative DirtFarmer I've owned dozens of 2nd gen birds over the years, and this is a Great resource. I only gave it 5 stars because I can't give it 10. If your working on a bird, you will want this book.
"If you're working on one of Pontiac's Firebirds from this period, this book will very likely prove helpful as you move through your project." (Jim Donnelly Hemmings Muscle Machines 2016-04-26)
