Nevertheless, Toby Belfer Learns about Heroes and Martyrs, offers a somewhat different view about those events. Aimed at 5th graders, the book briskly narrates a couple dozen stories about Gentiles who actually risked their own lives to help save Jews from. "Review of "Toby Belfer"" according to Joseph Carris. I bought the book for my grandson and read it myself. It is a very moving account of brave and selfless heroes who saved Jewish lives during the Holocaust. The writing is very good and the illustrations excellent. A book for all faiths to read. Kudos to the authors, illustrator, and publisher. A very worthwhile read !
