The Marching Season is very good,, but The Secret Servant is a 5+star John R. Crawford I have read the entire 16 book Gabrial Allon series. The Marching Season is very good,, but The Secret Servant is a 5+star story and none of the series rates less than 4 stars. Daniel Silva is the master of suspense and character development. Each character remains consistent from book to book. I recommend reading the entire series from the first book through The Black Wi. Beachlink said Different Main Character - but still a great read.. I did not realize that this was not a Gabriel Allon book I hadn't read a Michael story before - but the storyine was epic Silva so who can complain about that. This character is very different from Allon - and judging by the publishing date, I would imagine that he was replaced by Gabriel.. "Daniel Silva's books are interesting and suspenseful.
