It turns out that all 5 stories in this volume I had read in the past before he published them here.This is a good selection of his work, although some of the foundations of his world are not explained in these tales, so someone who hasn't ready his other fembot tales might be puzzled by the ideas presented.Basically, D.B. has created a world where life-like robots are possible and many men purchase female androids to be help-mates an. "Remote III" according to Kindle Kid. Darn good story! Even though it is very futuristic, it is very believable. Finding out what will happen next keeps you interested. His use of the time-honored artifice of writing under a pseudonym comes from the necessity to still maintain a day job and the habit of employers to Google new applicants to discover what stupid things said applicant is willing to foolishly do, and then doubly foolishly post for the world to see afterwards.
