This is a good book for those wanting to expand their knowledge of making your own cosmetics. Novices to the topic will want to supplement with other books on the topic. The author begins with Essential Oils and explains their use and effects, then moves to lotio. Lots of terrific information. This is a very well-written book with lots of information, recipes, and tips. It's probably not for someone who's never done any of this kind of craft before, but for someone like me who's dabbled in lip balms, creams, and lotions, it's a very useful guide.
