DESCRIPTION:
Created principally during the 1970s and 1980s, the porcelain collection formed by Henry and Constance Bowles represents both the fruits of the pursuit of excellence and an exhilarating accommodation of two distinct but perfectly compatible tastes. The 182 entries in this book include color illustrations and discussions of the history and decorative influences for each piece.. "Superb Catalogue" according to heretic666. Large and fat, all colour, intro by Spero and Watney, just how I like it. Thomas said Incredible. Simon Spero has done a fine job amassing a catalogue of the Henry & Constance Bowles collection. This book has astonished me with its vivid images and beautiful pieces. I've loved it from the moment I got it. It has served as a wonderful reference as well as an inspiration. I've started my own collection because of this INCREDIBLE beautiful book. I hope every porcelain lover or lover of beautiful things buys at least one copy.
