Not worth the money! I returned this book today (my first ever) after reading it in one sitting. What a waste of whatever price you pay for it (other than for free). The entire book is short in length to begin with and basically details only two incidents the author was a part of in his career as an outdoor education instructor only one of which I felt was interesting. I am an experienced outdoor traveler who has taken a 23 day Outward Bound course and participated in hundreds . Hugh Culver-author Give Me a Break said Pulling lessons from adventure. Stratton has been there, done that, and now told the story. Unlike many adventurers and guides, Stratton has been able to pull some important lessons from his days on the trails and in the tents. But don't be fooled into thinking this is only about freeze dried food and blisters, Teams on the edge will teach you about teamwork and communication and leadership you can use in the office as well.. Shawn not only highlights many of his amazing outdoor experiences but connects the reader to the lessons these experiences have taught him. Through telling his story Shawn clearly demonstrates that teams can have a positive or negative experience based on the actions taken by a team or team members. Many people have told me the best way to learn is by doing. This is not necessary
