I should begin this review with a disclaimer that I took a class on Young Adult literature with Dr. B. at Arizona State University.This book is one of my favorite books on teaching writing; it includes a good mix of practical examples with writing theory. It's got a broad enough scope that it was useful for multiple different clas. Where do I start? Melody L. Simons Very dry material, difficult to get through! I had to read it for a class, and it was torturous, to the point of falling asleep.
