Excellent This volume of the Treatise on Geochemistry is highly specialized in surface and groundwater. Some of the papers published here are very interesting in order to understand, for example, the appearance of trace elements in river waters or even weathering at low temperatures (which is the range of temperatures that a river have). Sometimes becomes very technical and is needed a high base on geochemistry, but most of the time is a very understandable book full of references that can be checked on-line. I recommend this book fo. "Excellent reference" according to Cattastrophe. This text is an excellent reference for anyone working on biogeochem, soils, environmental sciences, etc. The chapters are exceptionally well written and the references are exceptional as well.
The second is to present summaries of the tools and methodologies used in modern studies of the geochemistry of surface and ground waters.
