Hamilton I am a 51 year old woman learning how to play the alto saxophone. This is the best book I have ever purchased for self learning of musical instruments. The DVD taught me how to assemble, clean, handle and disassemble my saxophone. The instructor also taught me the proper fingering of the notes. I could not see this in other books. He is an exceptional instructor and I am going to purchase this book for my grandson. I highly recommend this book for beginners.
