From the very beginning, I was captivated by the story and drawn into the world that Andrea and Max created. The characters are very well developed and not only are they very likable, they're also very easy to relate to. I found myself pulled into this story and not only cheering for Joan's successes, but also feeling the fear of what she was going through and dealing with.I also loved how we learned some of Joan . I'm so grateful to the two lovely authors who wrote this. Joan and Carmen's story is so well written that I know other readers will love it as much as I did. Can't wait for the sequel and the other books yet to be written by this dynamic writing couple.. "A true story." according to Samantha. I've never read a more truthful story. It's a story of two women whom thought they were alone but realized they weren't. The characters were deep enough to think they could be someone you've met before, and common enough to find pieces of yourself within them. It was an easy thoughtful read and hope to be reading more from the authors.
