We LOVE Shmelf . This book is beautiful! The writing is fantastic and fun and the illustrations are a joy. It's exactly what I needed for our little one's who always have questions about Santa and Christmas. Request from my oldest "Will Shmelf have another story (book)". Dr. Organ I. Zer said Five Stars. Cute concept. Delightful book! I am a Christian who grew up with many Jewish friends. I realize that many Christian faiths use a Bible that does not include the Maccabees; as a result many Christians do not know the stories behind the birth of Hannukah.
