No ending but a big disappointment Kathy M I liked this book a lot until I got to the end and it has no closure at all. If you want a cozy mystery that brings a conclusion to the mysteries you don't want this one. Caitlin supposedly runs a cat haven, yet when a whole male cat follows her home, she doesn't have him neutered, but lets him run around outside. (Yes, supposedly he "escapes" but that happens all the time). He gets a purebred Persian cat next door pregnant. T. T. Nelson said Cute premise misses the mark for adult readers. I so wanted to like this book but I was very disappointed. The writing style lends itself more to a young adult novel. There is no depth to any of the characters, the beauty of the San Juan Island location is completely squandered, and even the central topic of running a cat shelter
