I love the way they right and the way they portray their characters. I feel that I am a strong Christian, reading my Bible everyday, talking and walking with God all day long. Dave's book opened up passages to me that I had not placed in the context of the gay communit. "If you only read one book on this subject, this is the one." according to J. Fried. This is my current favorite of the books on being LGBT and Christian. This book is in the oldest tradition of faithful questioning that started with Abraham, while being grounded in the Bible without simply towing the conservative party line.
