Like hot fudge on ice cream Dark and Delicious. Like hot fudge on ice cream.. "An Endless Dose of Funny" according to Frank Angelone. Never a dull moment with this book. As you flip from one page to another you'll find yourself laughing-out-loud at the over-the-top, (completely intentional and brilliant) emotionally disturbed and complex characters that you get to know - whether you actually want to get to know them or not is another story. I really like how the author has very detailed and descriptive back stories for his characters that help provide you an in-depth look at their imperfections (putting in mildly) as well as their twisted and psychotic behaviors. Let's just say that you'll learn more about th. "The guilty pleasure you didn't know was missing in your life" according to Erick Froede. Typically, I read more traditional and even-keel fare like historical nonfiction, so taking on this story was the literary equivalent of a last-minute sky diving lesson. It's a fast paced romp through the wacky and hilarious lives of some of the most twisted characters you've ever come across. So entertaining that you might even let yourself get caught reading this on public transport, despite the title, I highly recommend Dick's work if you're looking to spice up your book list!
