I have a piece of land that is subject to flooding so I was considering making some raised beds. This book gives a good points to consider to decide to do or not. I found the 10 reasons very compelling. A few would never of crossed my mind and each was a strong reason t. Great introduction on the concept of Raised Beds JeremyK No how-to in this book. Just a clean, straight list of reasons to consider when designing a garden. It was a great list, short and quick, but direct and covered many aspects I have not considers. It definitely opened my eyes, and makes me seriously consider the raised beds for our next garden.. Try it. You'll like it. Bobrun I've often thought about doing raised bed gardening. After 2 spinal chord surgerys it's very difficult for me to bend down for traditional gardening. After reading and following some of the techniques in this book I tried the raised bed system this year and became hooked.
