Very Basic Serge J.F. Van Doren This book provides a good, but very, very basic introduction to the software. Completely elementary. It just describes how the input and very basic analysis is done. If you are not a statistician and you need more explanations this book is not what you want. I would almost say it is not useful if you really want to use SPSS. . Easy to find what you need Petter Erik Leirhaug Its a lot of step-by-step guides for SPSS, this one is both helpful on the simple tasks and can function as an introduction for non-statisticians into the more complex issues.. Four Stars It is easy and well written.
