This book is self-contained,concise and easy to read. FYI, it is very readable and not dry. There's a number of good diagrams, for example,illustrating file descriptors allocatio. A Customer said It really is a very good book.. The best part is the code examples. Neither did I know C , nor I knew Unix before I took this grad level systems programming course.
