My kids are huge fans of Plants Vs. Zombies, and while the video games are a lot of fun, the games in this book require a little bit more thought and engagement of cognition and fine motor skills. Very enjoyable, especially over summer when I hear too much of, "I'm bored." Hand the kids the book, a pencil, and let them go to town. Boredom solved. My only complaint is that I wish it were in paperback to reduce cost.. Marcy said My 5.5 year old son loves this book!. We got this for our 5.5 year old son for Christmas. He's been reading it for months now. It's one of his favorite books. It's a hard-cover activity book, so it holds up well to being lugged everywhere. The mazes are way too easy, writing "stories" still a bit too hard. But he still enjoys the other activities such as word searches and drawing plants. It's an odd combination of really easy and pretty hard activities, but my son still likes it. I'm happy he's reading this rather than spending time on the tablet playing the actual game!
