Even though he could have read it himself, I read it to my son the year he was making his first communion. It was a wonderful way to solidify and enhance all that he had been learning about the eucharist. And it gave us one-on-one time. It also brought up questions he had and allowed me to teach him more, which I think has enriched his faith. I don't think he'll ever forget that the eucharist is the real body and blood of Jesus and this book helps to solidify that..
