Smith After reading the first nine books I finally realized why I like the series so much: because the characters are so likeable. Everybody gets along well with everyone else, with no problems except the ordinary everyday sort to be expected for Earth's ambassador to a space station. This book finds Ambassador Kelly and her family returning to Earth for a conference. As usual, EarthCent does everything on the cheap - so much so that they find themselves almost unwelcome at their hotel because EarthCent has negotiated such low room prices. Me. Cat's away rob In this episode we learn how the strix are close to omnipotence and that they are really fast, loved how a insurance policy saves the day and there is a grand ball ,with my favorite little "girl" back, even though she's been in the background of the last stories,MORE MORE MORE!!! (wrote this after reading MEGAN'S DRAGON, which is very good itself!)
