The text offers NO -or very few- RATIONALS for the procedure, which is instrumental in developing comprehension. I guess the publishers didn't feel that understanding WHY was terribly important. Taylor's is excellent and provides rationals, for every step of every procedure so you know WHY you're doing it in addition to how to do it.As it turns out, the why is actually sometimes more critical to understand than how, as .
