Outstanding Laws for Songwriting GordonMurphy I was a little skeptical when I bought this book and skimmed it briefly when I first got it. I didn't believe his laws at first, but when I started analyzing tunes, it became clear to me his insights and wisdom are spot-on. Everything he says makes sense, esp. Excellent Resource More insight and knowledge than we deserve in one place. This is a bible for approach to popular songwriting. It's even a bible for people who want to write left of center music but have it communicate to the listener more effectively. This is decades of song. dude said good book. I read this book all the time. It can seem very black and white and repetitive. That's part of what makes it great. It drives home the fundamentals.
