I'm normally a cozy mystery reader but when I got the chance to review this suspense novel by a favorite author writing this series as L.L. Bartlett, I just had to give it a try. I was not disappointed.Jeff Resnick develops some physic abilities after suffering severe brain trauma in a violent mugging. For awhile he's not sure what he's seeing. Once he figures it out, he must then make his brother a believer as well to aid in investigating parts of a murder he's seen.This was a good first book i. A good story! B. Unfortunately, this wasn't anywhere near the caliber of the books written under the other name. There wasn't any suspense or even feeling in this book. There wasn't any connection to the characters or plot whatsoever. This was just mind numbing.
