DESCRIPTION:
When not working or writing I am usually riding motorcycles,or looking for old out of print music and movies. Those early gigs gave me the skills I needed later in life when I eventually started touring the world with KISS, Alice Cooper, Stone Temple Pilots and many other groups. About the Author I started in the music business back in 1978, working bars while in high school. . I am no longer on the road, but I am still in the entertainment business in Central Florida where I live. I am currently in production with several short movie projects
I don’t know why this is my medium, but it seems to be working. There have been big changes, disappointments, heartbreaks, high points, victories, you get the picture. Each captured with a few lines. I have been able to work out feelings and leave certain things behind. Lately, for whatever reason, poetry and prose have been my medium. Published by Ken Barr Unlimited Ken Barr 2012. Here I have chronicled a transitional part of my life. Just an outline of what I was thinking or feeling. Before each piece I have written a few lines to describe what prompted the piece. At different phases of my life I have been able to express myself in different ways. Each page is a day, an event, a moment in time, in my life. An excellent guide! This would be a great book if you are going through marriage or divorce problems and people keep asking you about things and how you're feeling (maybe even sometimes acting like you should "just get over it")you could hand them this book. Ken's book was spot on for the feelings I had during my divorce. He's the sympathetic and compassionate friend who, though you haven't met, understands. "None" according to Debbie. I love this book because it mirrors the feelings about MY divorce exactly. Ken puts his heart right out there; I appreciate this. Ken, please know that we know you were here [smile].
