M. Burrows said Inspiring. I thoroughly enjoyed Melita's Legacy by Kate Southcombe. It is very well written and the story quite compelling for what I understand is Kate's first book.This book could be interpreted as a tragedy, a tale of loss and sadness. But instead I see it as a story of hope and encouragement as Kate chooses to concentrate on sharing with us the positive outcome she created from a very low point in her life.It certainly wasn't an easy journey for her,. Great read for all. Ned Ed One does not have to be a horse lover to apppreciate this uplifting book!This is an exceptionally well written book. It is not another one of the many "getting something off their chest, have a whinge books" that people write when things go awry. It is the opposite! It is great to hear from someone who did not give in to the bitterness that hard knocks can bring on.
