Measuring 7 inches square, this colorful, sturdy board book is easy for small children to handle. (Baby to preschool) --Marianne Painter. He doesn't ask for "Max's Toys" as much as the others. It's pretty cute (book is prob better for a younger child). His favorite books are:"Dragon Shirt""Bunny Cakes""Bunny Party""Max Cleans Up". Loveable Max & Ruby swap toys I. Polt-Jones Bias alert: I love all things Rosemary Wells. Her winsome drawings never grow old. I've read this with my kids countless times and they're now old enough (3-1/2) to know the story by heart and "read" it to me! Max and Ruby have a typical sibling struggle over sharing toys, and resolve it to their mutual delight by the last page. All the while, the story teaches counting skills. Little ones will just enjoy the pictures. Three year olds can count the toys themselves and even comment on the conflict at hand. Fun book with cute illustrations.
