I LOVED that Elodie wasn’t perfect and that she had flaws This author knows how you make you want to be in the world and story that she creates. I LOVED that Elodie wasn’t perfect and that she had flaws. What woman doesn’t? It’s nice to read about someone you could walk past on the street. Elodie didn’t have the best upbringing, and wasn’t exactly living it up, but she was doing the best that she could . She is five days from being homeless, her cable is shut off and the light in her room is burned out how much more must she endure. Oh yeah, everyone in town treats her like she's nothing because of her parentage.When the Davidson brothers stand up to two of h. "Hold on to your boots because you're going for a ride!" according to Carrie Bostick. Let's just say this book left me a little flushed in some parts! I had a hard time putting it down. Elodie has pretty much hit rock bottom when out if nowhere her cowboys in boots come riding in to save the day and do they give her a ride! Hold on to your hat because they will leave you wanting more!

I found this book well written with a very believable plot. Overall, this was a fascinating book."  Cocktails and Books. The ending was somewhat predicable, however, this book was more about the journey to the end than the end itself. The main and secondary characters were interesting. There was a great mix of suspense and romance. "Mastering Elodie is the first book in the Grizzly Pines series by Paige Warren
