"Excellent overview" according to TaeKwonDodo. This was a great book that accomplished everything for me that it was intended to. The organization was good, and the diagrams and photographs used well in conjunction with the text. The language is simple, and the information brief but sufficient to give you the basics of ultrasound. I bought this book after I attended a course, so it was good to have the additional info while the stuff was still reasonably fresh in my mind. This manual is useful for both beginners and more advanced ultrasonographers, but keep in mind that it is just an overview. This book will not instantly turn you into an
