DESCRIPTION:
Making Rain is a memoir of life on the edge of society. Fred Gorski was born into a bohemian community on the outskirts of New York City and developed into a free thinker, cross-dresser, bartender, pagan, and B&D mistress. The story follows him through a bizarre landscape of odd encounters, from mob characters and cross dressing cops to the sorrows of the AIDS crisis. Through it all he retains his dignity and celebrates all that is healthy in life.
Marsha R. said A very Unique Rain Storm. This is a fascinating account of a very brave, very talented person who knew what life should be and lived life in ways to accomplish just that. There was pain and sorrow, and unique challenges. Rain likely suffered more heartache than the average person can understand at times, but Rain persevered. Rain is worldly, intelligent, a savvy business person, can be lovely and/or handsome when the mood strikes and very thoughtful, empathetic, and most kind. I am fortunate to believe Rain to be my friend.
