The number of incorrect answers and poorly phrased practice questions in this book are a SHAME.Ex: A quote from the book's test explanation section on page 62 "ATPases, by definition, are special membrane proteins that create proton channels and convert ADP into ATP."This is completely incorrect. ATPases are in fact membrane proteins that BREAK DOWN ATP into ADP, thereby releasing energy. The conversion of ADP into ATP is called phosphorylation and oc. Not a good tool for the revised exam Collin Bentley Looking at the Google Book scans for the previous editions of the Kaplan book, I realized that the practice tests are VIRTUALLY the SAME. Not only are the questions the same, but also the formatting is the same. Matching has been eliminated on the new exam, but Kaplan still includes it. It appears that all Kaplan did was eliminate choice (E) from the tests. They aren't fooling anyone, and you'll be SHOCKED on the new exam if you use this book.
