Sooooooooo cute, humorous and well written. I read the Introduction and laughed so I knew I would like it all the way. It was letters written to, and the book is in memory of, Coco's Mom's Mom (who loved to laugh, hence the humor) who went to heaven in 2009 but Coco found others to communicate with and make them laugh, which is a really great attitude for dogs and people!! ;-). Great funny book FLCINDY It’s a great book for anyone who likes dogs. I finally got to read it. Since I assumed at least one of our children would want a copy I originally bought two copies … our daughters took those. Then I bought another two and our friends wound up with them. I bought another and kept it. I laughed the whole way through.. Delightful read! This book and it's author's warm renditions of a look at the world through a beloved pet's eyes and heart will warm you through and through. Unusually perceptive take; can only have been written by a true animal lover!!
There are so many animals to deal with and Coco thinks she is the "boss" of Mom and Poppy's Farm. The bulls kick at her, the cat tries to move in the house, new puppies show up, and the chickens seem to be taking over the farm. Living on a farm in a remote area of Costa Rica, a little dog writes letters to Granny Gringo in hopes of getting some advice on how to cope with her problems.
