"Thank-you, Carol" according to Pea Jay Kay. More than reflections, this book is like sitting down with Carol and hearing her personal take on so many people that she worked with through the years. So much of the early shows are coming back to me in reading this!. Carol's best book and a joy to read. I've read every one of Carol Burnett's book, including her play, "Hollywood Arms." But this is her BEST! Having met her a couple of times (once backstage at the St. James Theatre, Broadway, and the second time at Disney Studios), I can tell you what you see is what you get -- a sweet, caring, funny, witty, charming woman. There are so many great stories and recollections in this book and a few gossipy tidbits --. LarsLattimer said I really enjoyed the book. I really enjoyed the book. However, I could have done without the narratives about the sketches we have seen hundreds of times. We remember the scenes, and the dialogue, but tell us something about the production, etc. that we don't know. But overall, I like the book and do recommend it.
