"Important topics" according to C. Nichols. I bought this for my 7 year old son who is autistic and wants to learn more about what that means. He seems to really enjoy it. Personally, I like that it covers a range of topics including how autism affects people differently, how people talk about autism, and different perspectives on autism. It provides the reader with the current landscape of things in Autism-land. The way it is written appeals to me as an autistic person. Very graphic intensive with easy words depicting the real issues facing me today as an autistic person. The underlying message of acceptance is prevalent.
