John said May be the key to getting through Ranger School. This book did help. It was written by an RI which gives a good perspective. Some of it is redundant though as it comes straight out of the Rangers Handbook. But it is one more, maybe important key to getting through Ranger School.. Good practical Lessons Learned book shootn'scoot A look at the areas trainers look at when grading ranger candidates. So this is a "things to look out for" book. It's a quick read and better for it. No fluff, just a ranger instructor telling small unit leaders what to do, and avoid. Good practical advice.. ROTC Something to help give your ROTC cadet a leg up. When AD commissioning is at a premium it's nice to know there are simple how to books that can give that. It has been a huge help to my cadet.
