Great pictures and detailed infor.. Xtara said Hot Rod from Uncle, book from school.. A beloved great uncle, pass away last summer and left me his automotive tools and almost rebuilt hot rod. My boys and I tinkered with it a little but really didn't have a clue. A teacher from the middle school sent the Hot Rod Horsepower Handbook home with my son and we dug in. If your heart throbs when u see shiny water pumps, pulleys, seeing your carb on a street monster, that snapping throttle response from an NA engine - then this book should be your FIRST CHOICE!ive skim read most articles, but in comparison to other books this one sounds like it was written straight out of the workshop while the machines were milling! straight talk for the common man. No lengthy text overloaded mathematics/theory with few pics, but a nice readable and ea
