Suzanne Tolbert said A Son Finds His Father While Writing His Biography. This is one of the best biographies I have read in a while, definitely the best I have read about Henry Irving. Hard to believe that the son was kept away from his father by his mother for much of his life while growing up---but maybe that is why he is able to paint such an unbiased portrait of him.
