Beautiful finish to this two book series Beautiful finish to this two book series. I loved reading about the characters from book 1 again and seeing how their life is progressing while being utterly wrapped up in Serefina and Matthew Todd's whirlwind courtship. Matthew's quiet assurance of faith override the remembered chastening words that haunt Serefina since childhood from her bitter aunt. Serefina, the aunt long dead now, travels to her uncle's home only to be swept up in a bank robber's whims that effect the rest of the story of her life. She learns to love, overcome harsh obstacles, and trust God. Loved this book. Bravo to the author.
