nothing matters said Way overpriced for mediocre substance. The author disappoints in this book. I am disgusted with the price for such crappy substance. The direction is short, missing, or just plain stupid.. "Good book but." according to Amazon Customer. I'm a practicing professional/educator in graphic design at a state university and community college and I am always looking for good books on graphic design to use as my teaching tool and/or textbook for my classes. Although Amy Arntson, Graphic Design 6 Basics is a good book on the subject, but the high ticket price is prohibiting me to subscribe this book for my classes. I really don't understand the high prices for textbooks on this subject, when there are so many othe. "not a value" according to Chris. the content of the book isn't bad (not great, though), but at roughly 50 cents per page (that's after the 25% off, too) it's hardly worth it. text book publishers are the worst sort of con-man, and I'm fairly confident the author would not have priced the book this high themselves. I say go in on a copy with a friend/classmate or two, and then take it to kinkos and have them copy the thing for a fraction of the price of the book.and while people might critique the author's
