I used this book years ago with my reading-challenged students and they loved both the story and the ease of reading it which worked for this teacher! The illustrations are great. How can you go wrong with mischievous Tom Sawyer? Makes for an easy, great read.. "Great for English language learners" according to Michael Francis. I've always loved Tom Sawyer, but the original version is quite challenging for language learners and many other students. This version makes the novel more accessible and even has comprehension questions in the back. A great read!
