It's not even useful for reference, I would strongly suggest that you take the SANS course if you want any chance of passing the exam.. Xbitium said Not good for the test. It covers basic stuff. The book is a good familiarization of incident handling. It doesn't have enough information to help you pass the test. I have the book and took the test. Not a single time did I reference the book. In conclusion, the book is not worth it, except to familiarize yourself with the subject. IT'S NOT A BOOK TO PREPARE YOU FOR THE TEST.
