Enjoyed Follow the Swallow My son and I always enjoy Julia Donaldson's stories.Our favorites are the Gruffalo's Child, Room on the Broom, etc.This story was sweet and had a nice lesson to it, so we enjoyed it,but not quite as much other stories.. greenae said Wonderful illustrations!. The story is lacking a little, but only as compared with Julia Donaldson's other excellent books such as the amazing Gruffalo. I would still recommend this book for it's educational and visual gifts, bright and colorful with the last page dedicated to identification of all the animals featured in the story!
