"Not a book to purchase if you have knowledge of graphics." according to A Customer. I was (desperately) looking for a more advanced tool to help me add to my knowledge of animation. If you already know programs like Photoshop or Illustrator or any other graphics programs, then this is not the book for you. Basically, it just teaches the tool bars and other options. Not very helpful for those of us who want to go further.. This is the best book available on Flash Mike I wish there were more books like this available. This is an excellent reference and study guide for an innovative software product that may revolutionize authoring on the Web. (Sorry, I DON'T work for Macromedia!)Within about 10 hours or so, anyone should be able to master the intricacies of Flash. Even though Macromedia recently released its newest version, this book will help an interested person learn how to create online animated movies for the Web.Just recently, Netscape announced that it had licensed Flash technology from Macromed.
