The layout of the majority of the chapters includes a brief summary of basic terms related to the chapter subject and then the rest of the chapter is a listing of diseases, codes, and etc. It is a lot of information and is not much of a "read". However, it does a great job of describing diseases and conditions.. Heather said Facts only text. This book takes the facts only approach to each disease. Very informative about causes, symptoms, diagnostic tests, treatment, and prognosis.
