DESCRIPTION:
Really worth a try This is a great book, it gives the bidding, a short description and reader needs to spend great deal to time to solve, just like sometimes we did on the table. I enjoy reading this book, the questions are NOT easy but definitely worth the time. IMHO
About the Author Julian Pottage has written many books on bridge, regularly writes bridge columns for several magazines, and has been a qualified teacher of the game for more than 20 years. He and his family enjoy village life in Wales.
Yet declarers often fail to return the compliment: they play without a thought of what the defenders have done. Defenders in bridge base their strategy on declarer's bidding. The problems in this book all contain situations where an astute declarer can listen to the bidding.
