Perfect This was the Advent calendar I was searching for. They are much harder to find that they were years ago. I didn't want one with licensed characters on it. I just wanted a nice winter scene. This was perfect.. great pics but some windows tore when opened. Perhaps this item got wet somewhere between Zurich and Chicago so some of the doors were slightly damp and tore when openned. But we loved the artwork and had several friends ask where we got ours.. "Great European-Style Calendar" according to Angelika. Love this Advent Calendar. It is of very good quality and I love the drawings behind the windows. Kids loved it too.
