Great information for anyone just getting into 18 wheel truck driving.A little more information about the orientation process would have made an excellent first chapter: When signing on to a trucking firm you will be bussed to their home terminal and put up in a hotel at their expense. I chose a trucking firm close to my home so I wouldn't have to take a bus or spend time in a hotel with a roommate I did not know (and the bedbugs). So be . "THIS BOOK IS AMAZING; GIVING A TRUE INSIGHT AS WHAT IT IS TO BE A "TRUCKER" IN THE USA" according to Kolani. I recently lost my job and was thinking about going into the trucking industry and had a lot of misconceptions and was very reticent about making that first step toward a new career. After reading Mr. O'Hanlon's book it gave me a great insight into the trucking industry and where get the best training possible; including the details of what to look for when becoming a "trucker".
