"Four Stars" according to leonardo a canton. Too technical. Excellent I was very happy with this book. It's very detailed and informative. It is full of detailed info about the various Cessna 172 models with lots of photos and line drawings. It is a must have for anybody interested in this iconic aircraft. Buy it!. Book needs reproofreading to get rid of sloppy errors by author speedbird196 I have found several mistypes in this book: for one: on page 126 under the 'Specifications and Limitations'subsection 'Speeds for normal operations,' the author list TWO 'Best rate of climb speeds.' One Best rate of climb speed is listed as (Vx), which is clearly wrong (Vx is BEST ANGLE OF CLIMB).Secondly, on page 148, the author's 'NOTE; (1) Pressure Altitude (PA) = Altitude AMSL + 30 x (1013-QNH) is all confusing. First, the reader is given the impresssion to 'add 30 to the field elevation and thenmultiply the answer by (1013-QNH). Obviously, that statement should be reworked so as a simple algebra

Experienced pilots will also find useful tips and information to improve their flight standards, and the book is a great instructional aid for C172 instructors.
